THE PERENNITY ACCESSBOX IS A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF A ROUTER/TRANSFER FOR MEDICAL IMAGES AND A GENUINE DICOM SERVER ACTING AS A MINI-PACS.

The AccessBox is provided in four different versions:

  • The Standalone, an Out-of-the-box appliance with 1TB integrated storage capacity. Connect up to 5 DICOM nodes (modalities/workstations).
  • The Embedded edition, hosted on a Synology NAS system offering RAID protection, expandable (up to 100TB) and is recommended for up to 20 DICOM nodes.
  • The Enterprise edition, hosted on a MS Windows Server 2012/2016. The storage capacity and number of DICOM nodes are almost unlimited.
  • The Client edition, a software plug-in available for Windows and MAC. It can send/receive images to/from any AccessBox by any networked PC or notebook with a valid “Client License”.

How it Works

The AccessBox will securely send your studies from any digital modality directly to any other AccessBox anywhere, making them instantly available to any DICOM Workstation in your clinic or home network for diagnosis. No need for high cost initial investment of VPN’s or dedicated lines. The AccessBox has been designed to work on a standard Internet connection! If there is any interruption on the Internet connection, the AccessBox will perform an automatic restore from the point of interruption. No need to start the transfer from the beginning again.

 

Additionally, hundred of thousands images can be stored in the AccessBox built-in storage and can be also replicated to your local network storage or to a remote location, like a remote Diagnostic center, PACS and/or your private facilities. Optionally, the AccessBox allows you to share your studies with doctors and patients using a web portal, tablet/smartphone applications or output to disc or USB.

The Rimage Evidence Disc System™ (EDS) is changing the way CD/DVD/Blu-ray Disc™ (BD) evidence is processed. The Rimage EDS series of automated optical media evidence analysis systems includes the Producer EDS-8300NF and the Catalyst EDS-6000NF. Rimage systems are the highest-performing, most reliable, dual-purpose solutions for disc based evidence collection and disc publishing. By automating data extraction, disc imaging, and content reporting for disc-based evidence, the Evidence Disc System saves valuable time in the lab when compared to manual examination methods. Studies show a 72% decrease in the time required to process a typical batch of CD/DVD/BD evidence (200 discs), transforming an arduous week-long examination process into a simple overnight operation.

The EDS-8300NF and the EDS-6000NF combine professional grade robotics with feature-rich Rimage software to provide the most complete solution for automated evidence processing. The included Rimage disc publishing software enables the EDS to perform double duty both as a network disc publishing and archiving appliance. Designed for the professional investigator and newly trained examiner alike, the EDS has powerful yet simple-to-use features accessible through its intuitive graphical user interface. Case setup and batch processing initiation is straightforward and trouble-free.


Advanced CD/DVD/BD/USB Evidence Processing
Rimage EDS Software includes advanced features for data extraction and disc imaging. Users can select the output format they require from industry standard image formats (.ISO, .ZIP), or choose to extract the raw data in its original file and directory structure. Compatible with FTK™ for additional analysis. More challenging disc formats such as Multi-Session and HFS+ are handled with ease, ensuring the most complete data extraction possible.


Content Reporting and Image Preview
EDS automatically creates detailed reports for every batch of discs processed. The Case Summary Report includes basic information about the set of discs in the case. A picture of the disc is included in the report along with basic information such as Create Date, Media Type, File System, Number of Picture Files found on each disc, and the Collection Result. Whether you are processing two discs or two thousand discs, EDS automates the painful task of cataloging and previewing your evidence.

A Disc Detail Report is also created for each disc in the case and provides more detailed information about the disc layout and file content. EDS reports each file on the disc and its vital information such as File name, Size, Last Modified Date, MD5 & SHA-1 Hash, and the Session number. Graphics files are represented by a picture thumbnail allowing for fast previewing of illegal graphic content.


Advanced Processing for Hard-to-Read Discs
As every Investigator knows, evidence is not always in perfect condition when collected. EDS includes the capability to gather content from hard-to-read or even damaged discs. The EDS system ignores defects in the media and bad disc sectors to collect any readable data.


Integrated Disc Imaging Camera
A high quality camera is integrated into the EDS-6000NF and EDS-8300NF products to photograph each disc being processed. This maintains an evidentiary link between the extracted digital data and its physical media, and provides a record of any evidence found written or printed on the disc label. The EDS disc camera is fine-tuned to provide a quality image and includes an integrated glare reducing light source to provide for the best environment for disc photography.

This application enables the administrator to create a unique archive schedule for each individual camera based on a date/time or an archive size trigger point. After the schedule has been established, the Rimage Surveillance Archiver automatically processes each scheduled event. The end result is a long term archive with no user intervention required.
